In this month’s “C-Brief,” Rick explains why the PR profession has greater legitimacy today than it did 20 years ago. The primary reason, according to Rick, is that communication has evolved. News is now broadcast 24 hours a day on television, websites, social media and countless other media channels.
Rick also points out that the people currently leading corporations have seen the difference public relations can make, not only to their companies but also to their individual careers.
Rick was selected by The Plank Center for Leadership in Public Relations at The University of Alabama to participate in interviews to impart his expertise on several PR topics.
