  • Mississippi Secretary of State Photo ID Campaign in the Political Issues/Campaign Advertising Category

Beginning with the June 3, 2014, Primary Election individuals voting at the polls will be required to show a photo ID. With this new law, Mississippi’s Secretary of State was in need to educate the public, first, that they will need a valid photo ID to vote, and second, what the acceptable forms of photo ID are and how/where to go to get one. Using humor, The Cirlot Agency created two spots to achieve the goal of educating the public

In addition to the Photo ID campaign winning a Telly Award as listed above, an individual spot won a Telly Award. The spot features Secretary Hosemann and “Don” as the Secretary answers Don’s question of what he will need to bring with him to get a free photo voter ID.
