JACKSON, Miss. (April 13, 2022) – On September 23, 2021, Governor Tate Reeves appointed Colby Jordan to the Mississippi Business Finance Corporation (“MBFC”) membership. Last week, at the end of the 2022 regular legislative session, a bipartisan group of senators confirmed Jordan’s appointment.
The MBFC promotes economic development throughout the Magnolia State by serving as the primary source of the state’s project financing and administering several finance and incentive programs for both new and existing businesses.
“I am honored to join the Mississippi Business Finance Corporation and look forward to working closely with talented and enthusiastic members as we invest in the state through economic development,” said Jordan. “I want to express my most sincere gratitude to Governor Reeves and the Senate Finance Committee for demonstrating faith in me and allowing me to continue serving Mississippi.”
Jordan serves as Director of Public Relations at The Cirlot Agency, where she contributes to the development of strategic proposals and plans that reflect a keen understanding of clients’ business and communications priorities; delivers brand-building content to support programs, products, services, and thought initiatives; and counsels clients and boards as they encounter media, negative publicity, crises, and emergency situations.
