ELLISVILLE — At this year’s economic and technology symposium at Jones County Junior College (JCJC), some of the state’s most successful entrepreneurs will share their experiences and knowledge with the community. The sixth-annual event is titled “Success Stories of Mississippi Businesses”.
The symposium will be held Jan. 29 at the Ronald E. Whitehead Advanced Technology Center in Ellisville beginning at 8:30 a.m. The event will conclude with a luncheon.
The agenda offers five speakers. They are: Lex Taylor III , chairman of the Taylor Group Inc.; Lee Lampton, president of operations at Ergon Inc.; Lee Miller, president of Miller Transportation; Wade Creekmore Jr, president of Telapex Inc. and vice president of Cellular South; and, Liza Cirlot Looser, CEO of The Cirlot Agency.
Sponsored by the JCJC Foundation, the purpose of the annual event is to increase awareness on important state, regional and national issues. Previous symposium topics have included healthcare, military and defense, entrepreneurship and technology.
