Lynda Lesley Named Among 50 Leading Business Women for 2008

Lynda Lesley, Vice President and Creative Director of The Cirlot Agency, has been named one of the 50 Leading Business Women of Mississippi. The program, sponsored by Mississippi Business Journal, recognizes professional women who have made a significant contribution to society and the workplace. Selections are made from a list of women who are nominated based on professional accomplishments, personal accomplishments and levels of influence.
“Lynda certainly deserves this honor and is the ideal of what the 50 Leading Business Women award program represents,” said Liza Looser, founder and CEO of The Cirlot Agency. “Her dedication to excellence is what has helped make The Cirlot Agency a success and well-known globally, as exampled by her international defense communication strategies as well as contribution to the Mississippi, Believe It!TM campaign.
While Lynda blesses virtually every piece of creative work executed by this firm, her strong work ethic and focus on exceeding our clients’ expectations is what has made her a central part of the Agency,” concluded Looser, who was honored with this award in 1998.
This annual program, profiling the dynamic women making a difference in their companies and communities, is held every August. Members of the 50 Leading Business Women class also compete for Business Woman of the Year honors at the Mississippi Business and Technology EXPO in January.
Lesley has been with The Cirlot Agency for 17 years, starting as a copywriter and working her way up to V.P. and Creative Director.
